Here is a 1969 Triumph TR6C after a full mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The (C) in TR6C designates it as competition/off road enduro and came from the factory with high pipes and knobby tires. This TR6C is a beautiful example of Classic British motorcycle style.
Triumph made quite a few changes to the TR6 line in 1969. It was also the first year Triumph attached the name "Tiger" to the TR6.
In 1969 Triumph started using American threads throughout the TR6 line. New connecting rods, Hepolite pistons and stronger wrist pin were used. The cams were nitrided coated to improve durability. To improve engine lubrication changes were made to the oil pump to increase oil volume. New o-rings were used in various locations to improve sealing.
