This is a Kenny Dreer VR880 Norton Commando. Kenny, a talented bike builder working out of his his shop, Vintage Rebuilds (VR) near Portland, Oregon. In the late 90s Kenny started building his own higher spec version of the Commando which he called the Norton Commando VR880, also called the Sprint Special. Kenny built fewer than 50 of his souped up Nortons which include newly cast and specially manufactured parts, including custom fiberglass tank and bodywork, Marzocchi forks, Progressive rear shocks, Brembo disk brakes, custom aluminium wheels, and a belt primary drive. They are powered by a Commando engine bored out to 880cc giving them increased horsepower and torque over stock.
Dean has done a lot of work on this rare VR880 over the years including an engine rebuild, transmission service, and tuning.
