This 1975 Norton Commando 850 was brought to the shop and got the works. The client wanted to retain the classic Commando looks but wanted improved power and reliability. The engine was built using JS Motorsport pistons and rods . A pair of Keihin CR carburetors were installed to improve fueling and throttle response. The electrical system was updated to modern electronic ignition and high output coils. To improve handling a fork brace was added and a set of RGM Norton rear sets to improve ground clearance while cornering.
This Norton is a good example of how the right combination of modern parts can help make a British classic into a daily rider thats a joy to ride and own.
